Since 2013, Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries has selected kayak events that are easy to operate and manage in Busan, the city with well-equipped marine leisure environment. Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries also subsidizes 4 kayak experience facilities operated by Sea Explorers of Korea to provide citizens with opportunities to experience kayaking free of charge and to facilitate popularizing and boosting of marine leisure sports.
